What we worked on
Technical guidance, pull-request review and UX/UI design alongside the founder's AI-assisted development.
A commercial founder could build the first version with AI. Taking it further meant working through architecture, integrations and the experience customers would actually use.
Technical guidance, pull-request review and UX/UI design alongside the founder's AI-assisted development.
Multiple APIs and growing product complexity needed technical decisions the first prototype could not answer on its own.
Prototype to Production, with AI product development and UX/UI support.
Rasmus is a commercial founder, not a programmer. He built an initial version in Lovable, then ran into problems he could not easily untangle as the product became more complex.
Move beyond a working prototype as more APIs and dependencies enter the product.
Make architecture and testing decisions with an experienced technical partner.
Help busy local business owners understand and use an unfamiliar marketing tool.

Keep the founder building
Review the work
Make the product clear
Work through the founder's goals, the prototype's limits and the journey from business website to email campaign.
Develop desktop and mobile UX/UI in Figma while supporting technical decisions and AI-assisted implementation.
Review pull requests, discuss tradeoffs and use feedback to improve the work as the product develops.
BrandBuddy
BrandBuddy helps small Danish businesses plan, write and send email campaigns. Rasmus built the first prototype with Lovable. Smicolon supported the next stage with technical guidance, code review and UX/UI design as the product reached its first paying customers.
Shops, clinics, salons, cafés and tradespeople who need to stay in touch with customers without a dedicated marketing team.
Begin with the business website rather than a blank campaign.
Plan ahead, review the copy and stay in control of sending.
Architecture discussions and human pull-request review give Rasmus a second perspective on AI-generated code.
The product connects business context, campaign planning, subscriber collection and email workflows.
Desktop and mobile designs explain the offering and make brand information, planning and editing easier to navigate.

Fira Mono headings, Poppins body text, green accents and clear cards connect the website to the product experience. These are exports of our Figma design work; example content is illustrative.

In the September 2026 interview, Rasmus reported 10 paying customers using BrandBuddy for subscriber collection, automated flows and email campaigns. He described technical guidance, code review and working through ideas together as valuable parts of the collaboration. Growing to 100 paying customers was his next goal.
